Hey, everytime i go into reverse, it sounds like im grinding gears!? even if im completely stopped ... sometimes less the others. if i go into reverse real slow you can hear something spinning and slowing down as i go further into it!? anyone know whats wrong with it>?

 

Mine does this every now and then, Put it into 1st, and then put it in reverse.

 

welcome to the ss world...mine did that with the old tranny, new tranny, old clutch and new clutch, even when the car is warm...i asked a couple of guys at the dealer and they told me live with it lol...mine does it every now and then when i put mine in reverese....

I've gotten so incredibly used to going into 1st before reverse...it never happens. I do it with every manual i drive.

 

Mine does this as well. Isn't this the synchro's?
