Gutting Cat/ Taking out cats?

How do I go abouts doing this? In alberta our emission laws are non-existant.

get a header and catless downpipe, problem solved. if you need a cat to pass a visual test, cut the cat open, remove the core, put a peice of pipe in it and weld the housing of the cat over the pipe.

I don't want to fork out any money although. I'm am extremely in debt as is. lol.
Also, I am extremely uneducated on this, but I know I hear people talking about gutting their cats and etc..

i did mine like this....unbolt the dp..its like 5 bolts total i think...then i took a crow bar and poked it throughboth ends smashing up the insides of the cat..its made of a material that crumbles to pieces like a mix of fiberglass/drywall...not sure what it is...but in like 3-5 min it all should be broken up and shaken out...thats it man....does make a bad sound at like 3 to 3500 rpm under wot...but other than that it flows better....
