hahn 3" or 2.8 and 60's

i was wandering what i should do first, i currently have a injen intake, 3in header and downpipe from zzp. should i go for the 3in hahn exhaust first or the 2.8, 60's, colder plugs, stage 2 belt, and h/e?

also, my downpipe goes from a 3in to a 2.5in to match the exhaust. i know hahn has different size inlets but how eazily can a exhaust shop change it so its straight 3inch? about how much would it cost?

3 Inch is overkill, get the 2.8" and 60's and all the other stuff first.

3" is way overkill...people have picked up 10+whp going with GM's 2.25" GMP exhausts.

+1. Don't worry about the exhaust until you have the power for it.

Where does everyone get that 3in is overkill? I've actually contacted OTTP about this because I was planning on doing their stage kit. They said that there is no issue with running a 3in exhaust with a 2.8 and that it is NOT OVERKILL at all. They also said if you ever plan on pushing close to 300whp at all...3in would be best...soooo I guess to the OP if you ever plan on going with the 2.8/toys and wish to push as close to 300whp...go 3in...otherwise stick with a 2.5. Not to mention if u plan on doing a 2.8 setup...exhaust and HE should really be done...and is recommended. I personally am going stainless steel 3in...I rather get it done now...than buy a cheap mild grade steel 2.5 just to ditch it in a few years to eventually go 3in anyway...why waste the money IMHO.

Common Mike...he obviously wants to go 2.8 setup...2.8+2.25 exhaust=not enough flow
If he wishs to stay stock...gmp would be ok....otherwise 2.5 or 3in is gonna be better. BTW...not to thread jack..but hows that ss/tc treating you?

3'' FTW but It wont be needed until you have a smaller pulley and pushing more air

i am getting a 3inch and basically the ott stage 1 kit but my buddy already has a custom tune for it, but im getting them about a month apart. everyone is saying go with the pulleys first so i guess ill be ordering a 2.8, 60s, stage2 belt, colder plugs, and a h/e friday

just ordered the zzp triple quage pod and an interceptor. ill be getting a wideband as soon as possible to. does anyone have a zzp gauge pod? do they fit nice and look like the stock one as advertised?
