Hahn 3 inch tuboback exhaust unboxing

I havent had a chance to test fit it yet with the weather here but the quality of this thing is second to none and hands down has the best sound of any 3 inch exhaust clips I have heard. With a turbo acting as a noise buffer it should be even quieter compared to my supercharger. Hahn has a sale on these right now but I didnt pay near that, I totally got a once in a lifetime hook up.

Just for kicks I threw together my 3" catless downpipe to make sure everything lined up.

Those sound great as long as you have a turbo, if you have a blower it's going to be another raspy queen - had one on my turbo motor and it was the best sounding exhaust I've heard on cobalts

I think that is inherent with most 3 inch exhaust systems on our cars. If you are supercharged a 2.5 is more than enough. Also a catalytic and resonator can end the raspy sounds on NA and supercharged cars with a 3" exhaust. Hahn includes one in the street version of their cat back.

Here is the same exhaust above on a supercharged car. It sounds great.

So you've got Texas plates but are stationed in AR? Exhaust looks awesome btw! You should post up a sound clip as soon as you get a chance.

They sound like ****, Mine was on a TVS and it was a raspfest.. Slapped the turbo on and it was great. - Videos kill a lot of the actual rasp - that car had some and multiply it by ten and that's what it sounds like under load

Yes and no, had a high flow on there then switched to a no cat pipe hoping to get some more power out of that crappy tvs

The only way I would see any 3" pipe being even remotely close to sounding good on an SC car is if they had the stock manifold choking it down with a cat... Which defeats the purpose of having a big exhaust like that in the first place.
