OH it will be stainless steel, not buffed to a shine, will get more horsepower than any catback. and will cost less than a catback.
How will shop bend pipes produce more HP than a catback that is designd and tuned for your car? Not trying to be an ass, just asking a question.

It is because he is still using mandrel bent pipes, they're not pressbends where it will start to pinch on the bends. Mandrel bends get pricey.

I can only assume you mean 10HP on a SS/SC and 5 HP on a base 2.2 ecotec. the most restriction is well known to be the cat downpipe and header. muffler is there a little but not 10hp. you have to change out the whole exhaust to approach or exceed that kind of gain. Also to say the low end came alive is laughable. this is not a two stroke motor. by freeing up the exhaust it will be mostly noticed at higher RPM's as there is more flow required and is restricted mostly at that point by the stock exhaust.

another flag - I SMELL burnt RICE. yep I think what you describe as a good sounding exhaust could be achieved by bolting on a rusted out muffler. totally not performance driven in my mind to be THE LOUDEST EXHAUST EVER. and the high luster shine. not to knock Hahn for which I have respect for but come on this is for street not show. we are not the honda civic crowd here and totally want to try and separate from that crowd. give me #'s and an exhaust note that is guiet and then gets loud when I get on it. Why? I like to hear my stereo and dont want to have to come home and pack the car by doing a high speeed coast for a 1/2 block just so I dont annoy the neighbors. Probably going to stick with Magnaflow cause they have what I want.

wow you must be dumb, if you would like to call Bill Hahn pesonally let me know cause I have his direct number, That is exactly what he told me so I think he knows a little more of what he is talking about then you do with your POS jimmy rigged rusted exhuast. The only thing more rice then a polished exhuast is bolting on a universal muffler that doesn't fit right. The Magnaflow sound the most ricey out of anything, high pitch and annoying. You have to hear it in person, otherwise shut your mouth!

it still has to convert to stock, I know they are coming out with a header and Downpipe, but they say it all fits to stock parts too, so I think even though it's going to be a 3" DP, it's still going to shrink to 2.5 then back to 3", kinda wierd but it has to be able to bolt on to any stock part of the system.

hahn is producing products for the cobalt yet the owners are calling bs and shooting down a product available for them to soon buy. The same goes for the turbo super or complete turbo setup. What is wrong with some of you. I applaud hahn and any other company for making products for us and hope that they have the quality and performance to drive sales of cobalts even higher. Instead of shooting down something someone is taking time and money to produce how about a little support for them?
