Hardwiring Interceptor

Would it be possible to splice the interceptor guage into the OBD2 port? that way I wouldnt have to unplug it while having HP tuners hooked up to it. Has anyone ever tried this?

its possible. i'm not sure how well the obd system would react to have 2 signals being read from it but all that you would have to do is match up the wiring to the pins.

I wonder if someone could build a sandwich type plug for that, basically a Y connector that would let you plug 2 things in. If its possible, I bet Painless or someone would build them.

You can't use the Interceptor with HPT.
Even on the lowest baud rate, HPT still boosts you out.
I've already tried with an OBD2 Y cable.

Can't do it...one signal at a time as far as I know otherwise one of them won't work.
