So your timing chain randomly collapsed? And why do you need new cams??

My dealership parts section is already closed. I'll call again tomorrow to see if they have any.

whenever a timing chain messes up it can cause a domino effect and also cause damage to the cams, valves, pistons, etc. my car was making a wierd noise and i thought it was a pulley or something so i took it to the dealership for them to look at. then they told me it was my timing chain after looking at it and also decided i needed new cams.

ur totally right. i havent been too upset about it, but the dealership told me today that they have no idea how long it will take for the part to come in. i just wanna hav my car back in time for prom. im a freshman in college but i'd prefer to take my date in a car that's somewhat nice for her senior prom
