its been 5 or 6 yrs of work to get the m62 cobalt to hit 300hp by more than one person. things take time to learn. the tvs is very new and take a look at its power stats, first few couldnt break 300hp. then at was stuck at 330 now people are hitting 380 with it. youll see it go up to 400 in the near future.
and honestly this chassis is not made to handle tons of power anyways. if you want a quick car in the 1/4 this is not the best platform. it can be done but its easier to go somewhere else. if you want a car that does great on curvy roads, then you want a sc, and this chassis is great for it. yes you can do more with this or that but its really up to you what you want out of it. and also dont go chasing numbers. it will get you in trouble and drive you crazy. if X friend made this much dont try and outdo him. just outrun him with what you have

 

correct, but that doesn't mean the tvs is useless. and it definitely doesn't mean that $2000 for a 20% increase on whp is alot of money. it may be for those people that think ebay chips really do add 40whp

it really depends on what you plan on doing with it, cause racing is done within the top 1/3 of the rpm band

from 140 to 20 to 60 to 20 to 65 to 20. i use the entire band when road racing.

 

So are you saying the TVS is very reliable? I just want the car to breathe like crazy and be healthy, and thats it. More HP is always nice, but so is being reliable too.
