I didn't start it Area, you did.. remember that.

I'm not trying to start **** but when people attack me and what I have actually done (unlike other people that just talk but have never tuned anything themselves) I'm going to fight back.

actually, you did fire first. the inability for people to pick up sarcasm on here is what starts this.

shifting topic somewhat... so where would someone go if they needed a tune for a tvs and they themselves were not an expert?

The entire purpose of this thread is someone wanted to know how much whp they would get out of a tvs on a stock motor, saying 340 as area has is not realistic as he does not have a stock motor he has aftermarket valvesprings and can rev 1000rpm higher than the rest of us safely, thats a huge difference so by me saying 300-320 I'm correct.

So I'm not going to listen to some ******* newb like Victoryredss tell me different about a part I had on my car before he was even a member on here.
Area makes peak power at 7400, i made peak at 7300 on stock springs.

Springs will not add power.

What is important to note is the fact that area has used the same dyno everytime. If you do note he made 280 whp on stock cams and the 2.7" m62. My car made 253 whp on a dynojet on the m62 with a 2.5" ring, and then 313 whp on the same dynojet with a less aggressive tune.

His gains are inline, just as mine.

I do not, but it is in the plan for the future... Along with the tvs, although I am not going to say that I am capable of tuning it right off the bat, or perhaps any time soon thereafter... But I could flash tunes that were sent to me, etc

Exactly what I was getting at When the time comes I would PM LSJwannabe or FAST98 they can take care of your tuning needs

And thanks

I think both solutions would be great. Some hands on tuning with someone local would allow me to look over the shoulder and learn a bit.

Is building the Time Attack Cobalt enough for you?

I remeber Rodimus saying he was going to switch dynos to inflate his numbers...

344whp with nitrous, wwooooooooooww
no

im sure he built it with his own money right?, he doesnt even own it

I'm partially joking all my numbers have been from the same dyno, however the dyno thats at the GM bash is a dynojet which is different from what I usually use. I'm participating in the dyno day so I use whatever they will have this year. I think its important to always use the same dyno, otherwise its hard to find out whats really working for you.
