Why? He knows his suspension/transmission stuff but you guys give him WAY too much credit.

Now he's going to come in here with his terrible spelling/grammar and make uninformed comments on Rod's car.

have you been to the dyno since you last posted numbers? I know you've been mentioning plenty of things giving you problems.

First Area now qwikredline how about you guys start bashing 06black Paul LSJwannabe Maven etc

You guys realize there's just over a handfull of guys on this site with really good information with alot of experience. Any other correct information on this site is simply regurgitated information from one of them.

I am pumped these guys still post so I can learn from them, dont ruin it.

Paul doesn't make claims without backing stuff up, and is very open with his information - none of the "he tells certain people" bs. Maven drops lots of useful information without being horribly condescending. Same goes for LSJwannabe and 06black.

If you don't see the flaws in the comparisons you are making, I'm not even going to waste my breath.

I know exactly who he is, and from previous interactions he's not too great when it comes to anything except transmission/suspension.

Wow, now I understand why people call you a tool. I will just leave this one alone now.

I am not here to e-thug I was just curious. And as for credibility, I believe he has more than just about all vendors and members on this forum.

Eh, I've seen him tell a kid with a bad vac leak his pistons were fucked solely because he didn't like what was on the car. I'm pretty sure it was after Darkmanx and I both told him it was a vac leak, too. Like I said, I have reasons to think he's not that special.

As far as being a tool, that's your opinion, but if you ask me questions I'll answer them, no questions asked.

if you want to ask him off topic questions, send him a PM.

this thread is a TVS discussion and it has now turned into a "lets call out Area" thread.

i'm now dissapointed.

he brought that on himself with post #41 and then he asked for it when he tries to bring up drag racing done nearly a year ago on a different setup to try to justify his point

The entire purpose of this thread is someone wanted to know how much whp they would get out of a tvs on a stock motor, saying 340 as area has is not realistic as he does not have a stock motor he has aftermarket valvesprings and can rev 1000rpm higher than the rest of us safely, thats a huge difference so by me saying 300-320 I'm correct.

So I'm not going to listen to some ******* newb like Victoryredss tell me different about a part I had on my car before he was even a member on here.

Area Tunes and assists like half the people on this site. Ofcourse its not all free I dont do my work for free do you work for free? I have had excellent dealings with John and he always answers my dumb questions. You have never mis-diagnosed an engine problem before? i would also imagine John wasnt looking at this engine at his shop either. I have rebuilt 1000's of shocks and forks off of motocross bikes have I got a shim stack incorrect for a riders weight/ability? yes. My point is does one mistake erase 1000's of happy customers..nope

yea i understand what you're saying. Area does have the tendences to be vague with his performance mods, but you have to know & understand that he is the best tuner on this forum and what he is doing with the TVS is nothing short of amazing. his engine for the most part is stock, the only upgrade he has done is the valve springs which by themselves dont do a damn thing, but with a tune & increased rev limiter make a world of a difference.

you are correct on the TVS numbers, 300-320 is the average whp on a bone stock engine with complete bolt-ons & cooling mods.

and i have nothing for victoryss

If people had his tuning capabilities however they could make 340whp just like him. The valve springs that Rodmius is reffering to really wouldn't matter UNLESS he makes his peak power above 7300 which I highly don't think.

For the OP 300-320whp would be exact if you have a good to decent tuner. If you can get Area or 06black or some one of there tuning capabilities you can make that kind of power
