hatrickstu mod container options?

well for some reason in canaduh, we dont have anywhere anyone sells a aftermarket container with pressurized or non pressurired container to hold fluid anywhere.. or anywhere locally. but i l.ooked at a 03 silverado and their coolant reservoir tank is huge, plus it has a 3/4th on the bottom and a 1/2 on the top so could easily just modify the 1/2 toacceptd a 3/4th hose that the oem one uses for the intercooler lines.

anyone try this ? i am gonna go to the junkyard to buy one i think cause its huuge but not sure if it will fit under the hood i got a redline so we got alot of room i will probally messure it and see if it will fit later. anyone try any other vehicle containers and fit?

Yeah. If you option b it you don't need 2 3/4 inlets. Basically you use a t (or y) one hose from the tank to the y to the surge and the other end you attach the intake manifold outlet hose and I guess the added fluid draws heat away from the post intake manifold coolant but there's no real flow from the tank to the i/c system. Then you put a hose barb on the bleeder of the h/e and run a hose to the 1/2 inlet.

I just used a cobalt radiator reservoir. It's pretty big, I tapped it for flow (3/4 at the top) but it was a fail as it heated up more than the option b so...I went back to it.
