so would you recommend just doing your mod stu, or would you still combine it with a dual pass end plate?

i like hard data. seeing as i like hard data, im not going to say "mine is way better, omg." simply because i have never had the two mods on two cars with similar setups, so i cant compare.

IMO its just as good or better as the dual pass, AND you can add ice water to the system at the track, which is a huge advantage IMO.

would i combine the two, hell yea.

 

see, mostly i've just heard of it. i don't know much about this in detail. is it just a system where you exchange some cooler coolant for your hot coolant?

 

basically you are replacing the stock coolant tank (little piece of **** in front of your blower) with a 2 quart tank on the passenger fender. your stock system all in all only holds 2qts of fluid, with the new tank and 12ft. of hose you run along with it you are easily doubling the system, as well as moving it away from right in front of the blower (heat, and it makes it way easier to change your oil lol), AND with the larger inlet you can add ice to the system for the track. i usually just use extremely cold ice water. not to mention, with my kit you get an inline drain so you can just dump the hot coolant at the track and add in your cold distilled water. win.

 

how much would u want for u to build it all and ship to canada and instrustions on how to install? will this help to keep my iat2 down?

 

quite nice. the guys at the stealership will like the easier oil change if and when i do this.

thats it installed on my car. the stock neck and lines are completely eliminated. it works with extra H/E's as well

end of pass, (only 1000 feet), IAT2's were 113*



thats 11* increase of IAT2's from 0-98 mph. you tell me if it reduces heat soak.

 

i used to change my own oil, but i just don't have the stuff to change these oil filter cartridges and reach where they are. but it's good to have proof of each oil change anyway.

 

i forget what size socket it is, but i just put it on there, hand under the blower. then slide in a short and long extension. works like a charm

its easy as hell to switch back over after you figure out how to do it the first time. you are simply swapping some lines and what not over.

you get double the coolant capacity over the stock system, and you can add ice water at the track. ie: less heat soak on DDing, and MUCH cooler coolant at the track
