Header, Downpipe & Cat Back
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that we have come very close to completing our full system for the Cobalt SS.
This includes a Mandrel bent tubular Stainless Steel Header as well as a mandrel bent 3" downpipe with high flow converter and a 3" mandrel bent cat back system as well. All 3 pieces are a stock location replacement so you can buy them seperately, 1 piece at a time. Each item replaces the stock part giving you more flexibility in your upgrade choices.
We have a working model of our 3" cat back system on a car, and have received great reviews. Nice deep sound without that raspy snap throughout the mid-range that is inherent to some of the other systems on the market.
We plan to have these pieces ready for sale soon and we will be joining the list of supporting vendors very soon as well. We appreciate all comments and criticism and look forward to advancing the performance and options available for this exciting platform. Thanks for the space and we look forward to working with you all.

is it just me or does that look like some of the worst workmanship I've ever seen. I understand that it's just a mock up photo to generate interest, but DAM. If I'm gonna show potential consumers a product of mine, mock up or not, I'm not gonna put a hack job welder on my payroll! Very clumpy and inconsistant welds. NO thanks
Bad06SS- Right now we are concentrating on making the products fit into the stock location to accomodate the enthusiast with a step by step approach to mods. We can make the long-tube style header as well if we see enough interest in that style. Otherwise, the primaries are mandrel bent 1 5/8" and the collector is a full 3". Thanks
SUKXOST- the picture shown is just a prototype for fitment. These pieces are only tack welded and the final products will be nice, clean, consistent welds. I apologize for the poor pictures but we need to generate the interest like you said. Our final products will be smooth and clean and MUST pass our quality inspection or they wont be sold. Thanks for your comment, but I assure everyone that this is just a prototype. When we have a completed unit we will post those pictures. Thanks
At the moment we haven't confirmed our pricing details. We always strive to keep our prices very competitive and will be offering an even sweeter deal to the members of this board. It's your input and support that helps us all to know what is desired, in the end we all gain from it. Saving you money with special 'Members Only' pricing is our way of giving back to all of you. Once we finalize the details we will post the information immediately. Thanks for the input everyone.
Aside from the header, that downpipe is one mean unit. That converter is among the highest flowing available anywhere and the steel core keeps the reliability against melt down or failure. I cant wait to put that on our test vehicle and see the results.

yes coming from a guy who probably wouldnt know what a welder looked like.. The CFM 3 inch is a professionally done piece. It produces a great low end sound, with very little distortion throughout the cabin @ crusing speeds. I Have the cat back system on my SS and Im extremely excited for the full 3 Inch System. GREAT JOB CFM !!
JCswoosher2- yes it fits the stock exhaust location. Our test vehicle had a corsa system on it so we will have to get back to you on the details about the overall fitment with a stock cat-back. thanks
