Header/downpipe question

So I'm thinking about putting a header and downpipe on my car but idk what brand to go with and what not. Also will these upgrades throw codes and if so are there any brands that don't?

Alot of people like the ZZP midlength combo with a high flow cat on the dp. There will be a rear o2 code when you install it but you can get it disabled with HPTuners. Check out zzperformance.com, overthetopperformace.com and turbotechracing.com, see what you like. You could also get a pacesetter header and have a good exhaust shop fab you up a custom downpipe

Yeah go with the zzp midlength combo or go with there down pipe and a diff shorty header from a diff company because zzp doesnt sell there shorty header anymore which sucks

I am having the Vibrant Header/DP/High flow cat installed in a few days. I never thought to ask if it is smog friendly. 07 SS/SC, AEM dry CAI, and GM Stage 2. Anyone have an answer?

I have a 3" CTI DP w/ HF Cat.. it's decent, rear o2 is hooked up, no codes or problems with it except the flange to the header doesn't want to mate correctly. I get some exhaust leaking by. Im going to have to find a thick gasket to really pinch down to create a seal >.< I don't know that I would recomend the CTI DP because of this. Mine could be a flawed one, or rushed production since it was purchased years ago, but at this point, Id almost prefer a stock one. Mine had a punched cat so I donated it to a friend cause I didnt like the sound.

Here is a good choice:

http://www.turbotechracing.com/produ...dcategory=5617

Find it lower anywhere else? Just let us know, we will price match/beat... We have them in stock, and can have you one in a couple days.
