Header question PLEASE help

I have been looking for a shorty header for sometime now and im not having any luck whatsoever. So i figured id just buy a new one and its between the Badmab and the Pacesetter. I heard the Badmab almost always warps and the Pacesetter needs to be customized. My questions are can a pacesetter be customized to fit a 3in CTI downpipe? and basically which one should i get?

So what do you want us to do?

You don't want to run the cheap shorty header.

Hahn makes a shorty header but it is real expensive.

But you don't want to run anything expensive.

???

The Pacesetter is more of a midlength header by the way.

If you are looking for a shorty go with the Badmab.

Yeah, I think you would have to hack up your CTI downpipe a good deal to get the Pacesetter to work. The Badmab will bolt right up to your downpipe w/o modification.

Not all of the V2 headers have that problem. The V2 headers that people claim to have "warped" on them were most likely warped when the got them from the welding process.

If you get the V2 header check the flanges with straight edge. If they are not completely flat, take the header to a machine shop and have the flanges fixed on a planer.

The CA V2 & Badmab are the same exact header. Badmab made them for CA. Do what Ebristol said and check the flange with a straight edge. You should be alright.

If you have any trouble with the header just let me know and I'll take care of it. They are made with 304 Stainless so you shouldn't have any trouble though.

You can get them here if you decide to go with the BADMAB header:
