Exclamation Header tip!!

Hey i have a cold air intake and an exhaust im getting ready to put on my car... Im wanting to get the zzp header an downpipe for my car but i dont want the check engine light being on, is there a safe way to put it on and not have to worry about it..Thanks

Make sure all the holes are plugged, ie wideband and o2 sensors. Also im pretty sure hp tuners or another tool can turn that CEL off and ignore that code.

So do i need the hp tuner, or if i get the o2 sensor an wideband with my header an downpipe it wont trigger the check engine light..

when i sent my PCM to OTTP, they made my PCM ignore the rear O2 sensor. (but you can only do this if you r offroading it )

sometimes my car is pulled off-road and into our garage, that qualifies

I think if you get the o2 bung extender you wont get a check engine light.

you don't plug your o2 hole to avoid codes... If you plugged that hole and didn't put the sensor in it would throw a code obviously. You can get the rear o2 sensor disabled through hptuners or have and angled o2 bung welded in to give normal readings to the sensor
