Post Headers

i was just wondering if this header would fit on the Cobalt ss as well. i know it has the same engine as the Redline but i havent looked under the hood of a Redline.

I say yes, but i'm not 100% sure. Since the company is a supporting vendor you could go to their post area and ask them or even email them

SCdyne post area

Unless someone else can answer the question with certainty.

apparently yes...

I went to their web site and emailed them about this header and this was the response

The current RedLine header has been tested on a Cobalt SS. The
performance results and fit were the same for both vehicles.

NICE!!! So if im reading that dyno sheet correctly the baseline was: about 200 ft/lbs tq and 185 whp....and with the header it read: about 210 ft/lbs tq and 230 whp???? If so but im not the best at reading those things....

Exclamation SCdyne.. Financially Creative.

NOOO!!! SCdyne!! Adam Chant!! NOO! BAD! Don't do it. End of story.
You'd be better off using PVC pipe.. and burning the money you saved.

I don't think the FDIC is letting people buy things from him anymore..

Besides.. I wouldn't hit my dog in the ass with those headers.

FDIC is the federal deposit insurance corp. (yes I can use google)

How does the FDIC investigate a company that makes car headers and performance parts. They insure bank deposits.

I don't know the details of whats going with him, but being invesigated doesn't make you guilty last time I checked. It does in france however (guilty until proven innocent over there)

Welll.. I didn't have to google it.. I was a business major, so I understood all about the Federal Depositers Insurance Corporation.. but I did find it on this to... http://www.sixthsphere.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4824
I did find is strange the the FDIC was investigating.. The only thing that I could think of, is that the money people invested in him, by buying his products.. is deposited in his account.. therefore the FDIC is investagating all of Adam's savings and checking accounts. Which are now frozen.
But if you wanna go buy some stuff from SCdyne.. don't let me stop you.

TOG headers are actually comtemplating making headers for you guys. Theyre AWESOME quality and the best you can get in the Grand Prix community. Might want to flood them with emails pleading for some headers

Cool, I did a quick google search for "tog headers" and "the other guys headers"
I am only seeing hits for people selling their headers and not specifically their website (if they have one). Got a email or url for a website.

Also there are a lot of 2.2 ecotec headers out there. I wonder if they will fit?

I wouldn't mind giving them a shot but I don't want to be stuck with a big paperweight.

From what I have looked at most of their header sets are 2 pieces (3800 V6 motors) and about 600-900 bux depending on what your getting.

Since we are an I4 crowd we would only have 1 piece headers so it should be half as much

BTW thanx for the link stuffy.

don't buy the SCDyne headers, redline owners have waited since november, and just one person has finally gotten them now. BIG hassle
