Headers and downpipe HELP.

Hey guys what's up.. Just wondering would a zzp shorty headers and catless dp for a 06 Saturn s/c fit my 06 cobalt sc and is $270 shipped a fair price?
Or should I just get the zzp long tube header and dp combo for about $500?

Would appreciate the feed back.

Btw I'm fully stock with just an airbox mod.

Yea I gotta check the layout. But the price is pretty good for the combo shipped.

Its all the same stuff. The only difference is the muffler length at the tip. But in this case your not replacing that part.

It will fit. I have the zzp downpipe attached to a baseman header. Fits like a glove.

I've been on the board since 2007 yes but if you can tell by my side info I have less than 60 post and that's because I've been an active member since like 3 weeks ago. Either way you're not helping me "learn" anything. You're just being sarcastic and a smart ass because anyone who has a right mind would understand that you're not able to put "2 headers" on a 4 cylinder car. And if you're so irritated by my posts then why the hell would you waste your time trying to "help" me. So please if you don't mind I really don't want and or need your help.

PM me if you are interested.

It was on my car for 1 year, and it's in mint condition.

so your car is stock? i foresee a p0420 in your near future without a tune. I have just a 2.5" zzp downpipe with the high flow cat. I had to do the spark plug non fouler trick and an elbow to get rid of the code, and it has still come back a couple times. Add a header to the mix, and it will probably be damn near impossible to get rid of the code without a tune.

Damn I hope not.. Im gonna get for sure the badmab shorty header(<- singular for the grammar police) and a zzp 2.5" dp catless though. I hope I don't need a tune for that cuz it will suck lol

the p0420 code doesn't affect how the engine runs. it's only to check efficiency of the catalytic converter. however, if you cant get rid of the CEL, you will probably not be able to get any warranty work done until it is fixed. you might just have to swap out to the stock downpipe if you need to take it in, so keep your original. also, if you do decide to get teh rear o2 sensors tuned out, that will void your warranty right away.

You will be fine....

If you get a ZZP Stage kit eventually, ask them to tune out the rear O2 sensor, or purchase an angled O2 bung.

I had an angled O2 bung back in the day, before I tuned out the rear O2 sensor, and it worked like a charm.

Yea when I get the stage kit I'm gonna have someone down here tune it for me. But I don't want to tune it for the header and dp.

You will be fine running a header & downpipe on a stock car, but when you get tuned you should tune for all of your mods.

Yea no doubt.. I'm trying to get a wideband setup now so when I instal the header and dp I can also install the wideband as well.
