But when a company gives me a comment like that, and then I find out else wheres they were wrong about THEIR OWN product. Doesn't leave me much faith in their product if they don't even know what they are talking about?

But you guys can physically see a plate inside, blocking off the in/out nipples coolant flow from mixing upon entry/ exit?

 

ok so if inlet and outlet are on the same side and you dont think that theres a plate welded in there, so how would the flow be directed through the unit and not in the top and out the bottom... now as far as your q they responded to, im not sure that you guys fully understood eachother... there was obviously some miss comunication there.... think about it.... maybe they thought you meant dual core???

its not like a intercooler..the fluid has one flow path and goes thru the little coils or whatever the **** they are called lol...its kinda like a road course for the coolant

That is what I wrote to them. I know what a Dual pass is, they obviously don't.

I am simply making a point that they didn't know what they were talking. I raised questions when the stories clashed from what you told me, and what they responded to me with. This is why I posted what I did. I was not trying to educate you at all, I'm sure you have quite a bit of knowledge. So do I ;-)

I was looking to instal a CX racing heat exchanger in??? Where exactly is our stock heat exchagner ???

 

open your eyes... and take another look, your gonna install a cx but you dont know where the stock h/e is??? gl with your install buddy... your gonna need it....

 

This was on -20° washer fluid, so about 30% meth. I have washer fluid at my house that burns, so its atleast 50/50. I tested it with a hydrometer and it said it was good for like -30° if not lower. I might mix up like 75% of the strong stuff and 25% of the -20. I don't like the fact that it burns. My luck my line would break and I would have one hell of a mess on my hands.

 

are you tuned to run meth i just wanted to know cause i was looking into a kit but don't know if its gonna be a safe idea to run it with out a tune

 

OMG... this discussion got way more diluted than it needed to be.

 

Im pretty sure it is a dual core. Almost all 2"+ radiators are two 1" cores. So they probably would not have said no to that. This is strange...

 

let me clarify things.... there is a separator inside the cx racing heat exchanger... I had trouble when i looked at it and didnt see welds to show signs of one but at first I knocked on the end of the h/e by the ports in the middle and it sounded solid.... just to make sure I knocked on the other end and it sounded different more hollow.... but just to make sure it wasnt the ports causing the difference in sound I took the h/e to work and looked inside the port with a boroscope and yes there is a separator in there
