heat exchanger?

about to buy and install a cobra h/e...i was thinking...would it be a good idea if instead of completely bypassing the stock one...could i just run a coolant line off the return side of the stock one into the the feed side of the cobra and run the return side of the cobra to the return on the pump.....good idea...idk opinions welcome

thats what everyone already does bro

the purpose of the H/E mod is to increase the cooling fins, and volume of coolant, in the system.
would be silly to bypass the stocker.

ooooooooo lol i for some reason people just forgot about the stock one and went with a smaller more direct cooling area...and i thought i was cutting edge lol.....dont i feel dumb : ) to bleed the system it will in theory do it by iteself as long as u fill up the heat exchanger with dex b4 u install it and air will exscape through the fill..or at least i think so....its too late for me to be awnsering questions lol

I think the best way I have herd it put on here as far as the H/E goes is....

You add more coolant to your system, just like adding more water to a pot on the stove it will take longer for it all to heat up and since you are adding the H/E it also gives more of a surface area for the coolant to cool off.

^^Think that about sums it up....?....

So what your saying is hook it all up while it is still empty. Once it is bolted up you poor the dexcool into it up to the top then turn the IC Pump on to take it in....the level will go down and you keep filling it until the level of coolent does not drop in the heat exchanger?
