heat exhcahnger ?

my pump went bad and am ordering a new on tommoro and my question is.. as of now i have both factory and aftermarket hooked up right now. when i drain all the coolant and install the new pump should i leave my set up how it is or just run the cx heat exchanger. and gains pros cons. like easier to get air out of system or cooler temps from only running one h/e. any input is appreciated.

I am also trying to find a color diagram or something to show the routing of the opt. b. kit without dualpass, do you know of one?

An option b makes it real nice to tell 100% if you're pump is working or not because it constantly bleeds the system. The bleeder line is clear so you can see the coolant flowing

if i was you, i would pinch the line going in and out of the pump. so you dont have remove all the coolant....just a thought.....use vise grips but put somthing between the teeth and the hose so u dont damage anything.

I am pretty sure you can. I would ask ZZP or OTTP to be sure though.

Yea the aeroforce can literally be a lifesaver, now after having one, i wouldnt drive a day without it; i have no idea where you can find a diagram with routings of the option b without the dual pass

Also, to everyone else, ive never noticed coolant visible in my filler neck...does this mean i can add some more coolant/water to the system so that it will be visible in the filler neck and then ill be able to tell for sure if the IC pump is working aka ill see if coolant bubbling/jumping around/flowing

Yes, you can. All you do is remove the filler neck and replace it with a "T" fitting. Now you have an extra hose fitting. You then run the 3/4" hose from the Opt B tank to that fitting.

Then for the bleeder hose, you just tap into the bleeder screw on the HE and run that to the Opt B tank...Done
