ok so in a couple of weeks i'm gonna do some pretty heavy mods, ca stage 6 a bunch of other mods to go along, my friends a mechanic so he's helping me out my ? is i hear stuff like your gonna blow pistons screw you engine up it can't take it, i'm not gonna abuse my car i'm not gonna get on it like crazy only race if someone challenges me i never take it to the track, will i be ok as long as a monitor everything?

 

well......there are a few things that you will have to watch for. Your clutch will slip like crazy, wheel hop will snap your axles and around 300whp is where our motors start to pop...

 

ya i'm spending what ever i have to to be carefull of this, new clutch everything that's needed. i just mean if i'm careful and watch everything like monitor it all will i be ok, i'm not the kinda driver racer who races a lot.

 

I"ve been rocking stage 6 for almost a year now with no issues... just make sure to watch your gauges (KR, afr, etc) and axles, mounts are a must. I am still on my stock clutch and it never slipped yet (296whp 271wtq)

 

I have a ca stage five for almost two months now. Clutch hasn't slipped once. Car runs great although im guessing that Im only around the 260-270 whp range.
