ill take a pic brb

EDIT:All you have to do is pry downward with the screwdriverand it will loosen the belt. Be careful not to bend too much into the tensioner Good luck with your install.

get a 15MM wrench and there is a slot on the back of the stock tensioner, put it on there and push down!! you don't need to pry the stock tensuioner.!!!

I have done it this way to 5 other cobalt's/ redline's when changing pulleys for them, and it is easy, and doesnt hurt anything, you just have to be careful not to bend into the stock tensioner, put something in between the screwdriver and the tensioner to protect it. I did not know there was another way, as your way states, that must be the proper way, i didnt know of another way lol

umm you know you can release the belt with your hand right ? When my sc was removed all we did was press firmly down on the tensioner and the belt freed up. No tools needed.

It's all in the instructions, but I can see where you guys are getting messed up. I would almost have to be doing it to explain it, you know? But ill try...Look at the pictures in the instuctions. that is how the pulley puller should look (at the end, when it shows how to press it on) All you need to do is have it in that position with all the bolts and washers in the right places (very important) and have a buddy hold the bar, and you get a big ass wrench and turn the opposite way he is. Like I said its very hard to explain, In person would be much easier, Good luck to you. Let us know how it goes, as you should get it, It's not to hard...

But the ZZP puller isnt the best, from my experience, I have shown a few guys who know superchargers, and know how to do pulley swap's, and they had to take a few looks at this thing to figure out, I'm guessing the EATON puller is more user-freindly??

Heat the hub, put it in the oven for a while or heat it with a torch to 450* and slide it on...It works trust me

Are you doing it by yourself?

You should read the instructions that came with the puller, it pretty much explains the process and what the puller should look like, then just press it back on, its very hard to press on, but well worth it....
