It seems when ever im pushign the car and i switch from 2 to 3rd if im going really fast it wont go into gear, i dont know fi im pushing the clutch to lightly but i thought i could apply the same amount of pressure to switch for each gear. Is it needed to push it down further from going from 2 to 3rd because of all the pressure?

Every time it happens i have to let off the gas a bit and then switch.

 

Its call "stage 0" driver mod. J/K. We have all done it. Just practice with it. You'll get a feel. It seems like for me, i just palm it and shove it straight forward rather then at an angle to get it in gear. Practice Practice Practice!

 

yeah what you have to do is hold it with a limp wrist, so all you have to do is push it straight up, and it will slide over naturally and slip into third

 

yeah more like stage -1 lol. just gotta mess wit u FL. im at like stage 3 driver mod and occassionally i will miss 3rd gear. it is when i have ppl in the car and im tryna shift really hard. but i had a good run in with a s2000 and i missed 3rd with 2 ppl in my car and we still caught up to him.
