ok i was driving today, i had an open road all alone so i floored it. when i was about 4500-5000 RPM i had a misfire, i think. it just like skiped for a milisecond, and it was fine after. also when im idling somtime the revs will randomly go from 500RPM to about 1500RPM, randomly, like my car starts to shake like it is about to stall then it will shoot up to 1000-1500 RPM. any help would be great. what could be causing this, what does it mean?

 

I have no idea, but I'll bump you for help. This sounds serious.

 

check your plugs. sounds like something along the lines of detonation... very minorly tho. i would just check all your plugs for starters

 

yea i donno, im kinda nervous. but i dont think its a major problem right now cause its not afftecting anything really, but i wanna get it fixed before it spirals into somthing terrible. has anyone else that the idling problem? i think ive read about it but when i search nothing specific comes up.

 

my plugs look great, i just checked em, any ideas what else it could be?

shutup.haha. im pretty sure i didnt blow my motor. it only happend that once, i havent lost any power eveyrthing is fine. except the idiling is kinda gay. even iff i did blow my motor its all GM parts on my car. cept the CAI.but that cant blow my motor.
