Help with Engine Damper

OK. i have had my Engine damper for over a year. but i cant stand to have it on my car so it just sits in the garage. Every time i put it on. On a right turn its got HORRIBLE vibration. peopl in the car say WHAT WAS THAT. its embarrassing. and it helps a little. but id rather have wheel hop than the bad vibration. Am i doing something wrong? i can find a How To. Im just unbolting and putting the brackets on. But the shock doesnt fit all the way so i losen enough for it to fit n there. I dont jack up the tranny or anything. i would think the vibrations are messing up my motor mounts

Someone please help me because i would like to know what im doing wrong because im going to the track today. Thanks

Maybe you have it too tight? When you get in low RPM like on a turn, it will start to shake. Its not as bad if the damper is on stock setting

The Weapon R one sucks. The Ingalls unit is a nice piece. I have a little bit of vibes every now and then, but nothing bad. It really helped out with the wheel hop as my second trip to the drags didn't end on the first try with a snapped axle @ the 60' mark. I actually drove my car home on by it's own means after 10+ passes!

dunno make sure you have it set right... I"ve installed a few of them on peoples cars without that horrid vibration.. yes your gonna get some due to what it does but not as bad as you decribe.. I personally have the ingalls on mine... no problems here.
