You're probably better off just putting the back of your car in the air and drilling the holes with it up, so you can check yourself. Just drill from the bottom.

the problem with that logic is that the car is not made from one layer of metal.

and im not trying to drill into the bottom.
i am trying to drill in the sides, such as near ''where the fuel is filled''

thankyou,
superslowbaltss.

The gas tank is located basically right behind the back seats.

Then take off the rear side panels and drill in through there. You'll need to take them off anyways unless you're planning on drilling through the body itself.

The tank should clear the trunk. I had to swap out my fuel tank, you should be fine aslong as you don't drill through towards the seats

I just took some pics, best as i could. gimme a min
In this pic, you can see the fuel hose that carries the fuel from the door, into the tank. (right next to the tube with the blue clips) It should wrap around the trunk itself, so you shouldn't have an issue with that.

The tannish/silver tank closet to the camera is the trunk. Infront of that is a black box with fuel lines going to it, then the bar going across the car, then on the other side of that is the fuel tank. So see, a good 5-6 inches separate them.
