Help which header and downpipe combo?

i just got done looking at all my options and the CI header and downpipe would be more $$ then the vibrant combo and the zzp is only 80 bucks less then the vibrant so looks like ill be spending at least 500 im really wanting the stainless steal one no matter who i go with so what should i get? i plan on getting 1 3/4" primary tubes a catless downpipe and i want a 3'' downpipe with a 2.5 exit since i have a magna flow catback system now i need inputs plz and the vibrant downpipe is only in 2.5 i think

come one 25+ views and no info or inputs

If your going to not buy the clear image... atleast get the zzp..

Im pretty sure theres more power out of the zzp than the vibrant... plus it sounds a little nicer.

The vibrant is only a 2.5" collector and dp right? And it is still $580 + shipping....

If you are on a budget I would check this combo out.

CA sells their V2 header on ebay for $215 shipped.

1.7" primaries and a 3" collector. It is larger then 3"!

And a 3" ZZP dp with 2.5" flange

i was thinking about getting a mid length header tho and i really dont need a 3'' collector due to the fact that my hp goal is only 270ish and you only need the 3'' collector if you are making over 300 hp other wise its just over kill a possibly hurting your hp

Completely wrong.

Who ever told you that... well... Ask us to clarify something if he tries to explain something to you again...

That is incorrect. A 3" collector is perfect for 270.. honestly i dont think you would get there without it.

For the price of the Vibrant header/dp you might be able to get a CTI header/dp combo. There just was a recent GB on them. I missed out on the GB but contacted CTI and they gave me almost the same price. PM me for details.

ZZP's midlenght header/dp combo has problems with leaking. The reason is, they use a 2 bolt flange for the header to dp connection. All the other companies use a 3 bolt flange for that connection.

I picked up the CA V2 header and the ZZP 3" catless dp with 2.5" flange for $400 shipped. You can't beat it.

Use the money you save to buy a dual pass endplate or HE.

i AM getting both the dual pass endplate and h/e no matter what but like i said im pretty dead set on getting stainless steal and i really would like a mid length header is it true about the 2.5 downpipe being to small? if so then i might have to peace it togeather and where is the CA V2 header sold at?

I know for a fact you've seen the threads involving ZZP's flex pipe welds breaking. They always say they've fixed the issue but it still happens, just like the flange leaks.

I still say CIA. It's something that's going to take a lot of abuse from heat, flexing, etc. Don't cut corners and get cheap parts, and the lifetime warranty is pretty awesome.
