Ok, the typhoon filter is drying right now. AFter I oil it down and let that dry, I have to reinstall the filter. The clamp is the only thing that holds the filter on, is there any trick to this or do I just tighten the clamp screw as tight as I can? I may go to the track tonight with my newly installed header/dp combo and catback exhaust.....I don't want my filter falling off and want to make sure I cover my bases reinstalling it. Just tighten the screw on the clamp and thats it????

 

yea thats it, put it on the tube and tighten the hose clamp

 

I figured, but when messing with your car (which I normally pay someone else to do), there is no such thing as a dumb question. Thanx a lot.

 

There is no greater feeling than completing a project by yourself and enjoying the results. Go get yourself a nice tool kit and try it out. Its fun!

 

Just make sure you dont' OVER oil it... it will cause MAF issues!

Make it just a light shade of pink color! If it is dark red like it was to begin with it's too much and it'll clog up your sensor....
