I have a 06 SS SC, tuned on e85, 2.7 pulley, 80# injectors, full exaust, injen intake, GM performance clutch. Im at 300 hp running around 20 psi if not more. Im wondering what other stuff i could add to my car to make it faster. I dont know alot about cars. What else could i get for my SS?

 

Come on dude. Search. Its a car with an engine. All engines ultimately need certain things to make more power. Cams. Valvesprings, pistons, bore the engine, port the head, lightweight crank, more fueling, more boost, turbocharge it, make the car lighter the list goes on

Sorry to come off like a dick i mean weve all been there but look at some build threads to get some ideas and insight.

If you put on the pulley injectors, exhaust, intake, and clutch, know what horsepower and psi you are running, you clearly know enough about cars to know how to make one faster and what modifications to perform. You either A) were told these mods by someone else and have no clue or B) are just trying to troll us all

 

Oh yeah you arent making 300 whp as is thats for sure lol

Ps of youre boosting 20psi or high on a 2.7 id make sure your cat isnt clogged or something

how could i not make 300whp on a e85 tune witch gives up to 30% more hp and almost a stage 3 setup with a 2.7", 80# injectors(840cc) + full exaust amd a injen intake.

 

Well, yeah. Just look around for the type of direction you want to go then come at us with some specific questions. Otherwise theres a million things we could suggest to make it faster but really isnt gonna help

 

so there isnt really much i can add to make a big change in my speed. Im thinking about cams

i ment 20% more hp with e85

 

Your current power is more likely to be around 260-280 tops

Id say roughly 275 hp. I had a similar setup except a 2.8 and made 267.

 

300 is very high.

id say 270-280 at the most. i made just over 300 on a 2.8. but i have alot more in my car.

i know im close to 300. Just with my e85 tune i get 250 hp. Then with my FULL exaust and injen intake i would say close to 10 hp. So im sitting at 260. Now with a 2.7" which is very small size pulley 80# injectors thats gotta get me around the 280-290hp mark. Im running close to 20 psi, i would say 17.
