HELP MEE! I just got stage 2 installed

OTTP just installed there stage 2 kit and they tuned and installed it at there house 2 days ago. my cars showing 30% lean, idles and runs like ****, have to rev it to keep it running sometimes, around 10mpg, check engine light is on for lean P0171 or whatever. I replaced my cold air intake with stock and it didn't change the lean percentage number at all. i checked all hoses and everything. O and my supercharger sounds like a rock tumbler making loud weird noises. Keep it mind my car was in top superior running condition up untill 25 mins after i left there shop. (no i didnt rag on the car either)

my mods and car-
06 black ss/sc with 24k on it. 93 octane only and always. K&N air filter but i went back to stock to see if it helped and it did not!
2.8 pulley, 60# injectors, heat exchanger and colder plugs.

Does it looks like i have to drive 2 hours so someone can tune it again?

they have a house? I thought they have a warehouse or something? anyway, it might be easier to send it in to josh and tell him your findings that might hold you over till you get back to them and get a re tune or a custom tune. w.e.

If it ran fine up until you left I'd suspect something came loose or unplugged. Check your vac lines and all plugs.

I think Dainslaif is right but I gotta say if I had work done by some guys (and Josh is an A1 certified GM mechanic btw) and it screwed up i would turn around and get them to fix it right to my satisfaction right away. And I think Josh would stand behind his work 100%.

But by crying and making a whining bs post here instead of calling/turning around /getting them to fix it, well it justs sets everyone up to not help you. wow.

Shane,

When the car was tuned it showed 6% lean and the 6% was added to correct this.

Bring the car back by and we can look it over for you because that is not normal at all.

The blower noise is completly normal.

They are planning on building a warehouse soon. And mistakes happen. There very nice/professional guys. zzp was very rude to me on the phone, did not answer about 7 times even though it was during there business hours and were further away. I like the ottp guys and there service. We just got to work out my issues with the car soon because i relay on it everyday to take me to work and college very soon. The point of these thread was not to put down ottp put to get advice!

You are extremely wrong buddy. i made 2 efforts to contact them today with no success up until now. I called them as soon as the code came on after leaving there shop and they told me it was a result of my CAI so i did not turn around. I found out today the CAI was not the cause so rather than show up at there shop and it being a simple problem i wanted ideas first before i wasted my time driving.

The reason we couldn't be reached yesterday is that Sean was off and I was gone picking up parts 275 miles away. I highly doubt this is a tune problem, I can't see it being off by 30%

It might be a tune problem well kinda lol. If someone happend to the maf in any way it would throw the cars fueling off.

Have you recently removed the maf for any reason? Also fast did you tune this for maf only or no?

sounds like you have a fuxed 02 sensor or a sizeable leak after the maf... or your maf took a dump...

That's what I'm thinking. The tune won't spontaneously get horrible after driving just fine for a while.

Sean, any chance you could give a heads up on what was adjusted? This is the first I've heard of a car going from +/- 6 during tuning to retardedly lean after leaving the shop without it being a loose coupler/MAF/O2.

His maf calibration was adjusted along with him having the wrong short pulse adders somehow. The short pulse adders was the main problem. Also his car was only about 12% lean(average) and only at idle and very low speeds.

Yet again another great example of the perfect customer service that OTTP provides. In all cases they stand behind their products, their tunes, and their word. Cheers boys!
