Help! My ecu is locked

ok so i took my car to a local shop with hptuners yesterday to get tuned and they couldn't access my computer because whoever installed my gm stage 2 at the dealership locked up my computer to where i can't put a tune on the ecu. has anyone else experienced this problem from the gms2 tune?

as far as I've seen in the 4 years I've been tuning these thing you can't tuner lock the ecm. and the issue people probably have with ZZP is they don't have the newest beta version of the software so you can't read the file.

thanks for the help. the shop i went to has tuned many lsj's and lnf's so i'm a little confused as to what is going on. the guy that helped me sent an e-mail to hptuners with the file attached so hopefully he will hear back from them and it will get worked out. i'm just a little nervous because i have to pass emissions by the end of january and i need to get a code deleted

The LSJ ECU can be locked, however I have never heard of a dealership locking an ECU.

Can you post up an HPT infolog for us?

http://www.hptuners.com/help/demos/infolog.swf

also, what error was coming up? Invalid OSID/VIN pair or something else? Please be as specific as possible.

I'm telling you we don't lock them. You probably had another issue that was stopping you.

Yeah I highy doubt that since I tuned 10 balts that day and he had his spre pcm. So I tuned it. I tried more then 5 times and his pcm was locked. It would start loading the tune then stop saying we couldn't download it because thr pcm was locked. I'm not lieing m kyle cobaltss89 and ask for ureself.

Probably just didn't gave the right version of the software. Some people get the betas and if you don't have it you cant read the tune

Well I went and tried to lock a pcm and I can't even select the feature to lock a lsj pcm. So it must have been something else wrong.

Go try and lock one yourself and post up the screen shot. I can't do it here and I proved it.

Make sure you are using the right vin #. I had so much trouble getting trifecta tuned one time first because I did not have the right cable for an 06 and second because I had a zzp canned tune that was a different vin # and was also off of a damn malibu
