ummm...something is not right. when it goes to those "---" 3 dash marks it means that it is too lean for the wideband to read

kk here's how mine works...

cruising : bounces between 14 and 16
WOT : 11.6-11.8 " OTTP Comanded AFR "
When I'm Not Stepping On The Gas : --- Three Dashes Coz The Fuel Shuts Off Or It's Too Lean For The Wideband To Read....

If Ur Seeing --- On WOT Then U Got A Problem

It should NOT be near 14 at WOT PERIOD !
That will ruin your engine.
The afr will bounce around while in closed loop, its the oxygen sensor searching for stoich.
Yes sometimes when you release the throttle you might see the --- on the AEM screen.
All sounds normal to me, except the 14 @ WOT, that needs addressed when tuning.

Could it be running that lean because of the aem intake and the car being stock ?? I got they odd lean code when i was tottally stock with just the air box mod. But once i got the GM STG II installed it has never had a lean code in over a year in a half yet again. Just a thought ?

If your running the S2 tune and the mods in your sig, you shouldn't be anywhere near the 14afr at wot. more around 10.1 - 10.3 depending on the weather.

I think that it was said here before, but the gauge will read --- when the reading exceeds the range that it will display. I think the gauge range is 10 - 18 afr. so at WOT if the afr is 9.9, the gauge will read ---.

I would say so. Maybe were wrong. But thats a pretty wacked out afr for a stock car with just an AEM intake. Im no expert, But id have that looked at for sure to make sure its not or why it is running that lean.
