the stock exhaust isnt very restrictive. so spend money elsewhere. so far the stock header dyno'd the most power out of all the aftermarket header. if anything just get a dp with a high flow cat or catless and do 2.5" axle-back exhaust all together thats like 400

I highly recommend the ottp stage 1 kit, an aeroforce interceptor gauge and an aem wideband gauge. Also it would be a great idea to get a custom tune from someone in your area or from me cough. The tune is one of the most important things you can do for your car. I have seen tunes make and break good cars. Also remember that these cars heat soak extremely bad so cooling mods are very very important. Read up on methanol injection, dual pass end plate with option b and heat exchangers.

I am assuming your talking about the methanol injection and or cooling mods? Methanol injection is used to cool the intake charge down and to help with detonation. The water cools the intake charge down, while the methanol has a very high octane rating so this helps with suppressing detonation. Basically makes it like your running race gas. When tuned for this you can see huge gains. In general though these cars, cobalts/redlines/anything with the m62 heat up extremely quick. When the air gets very hot the ecu starts to pull timing. When the ecu retards the timing you lose horsepower. So basically you need to get cooling mods so that the ecu will not retard the timing, and if anything allow you to increase the timing drastically. Hopefully this helps.

I think you'd be satisfied with a Hahn exhaust.
