hid wiring questions plz help
I got a set of projectors with the hids already in em and the ballast already hooked up. question is I have 1 white wire, 2 red wires, and 3 black wires that are all bare. Where do those go? Are they so i can have the halo's and led's on seperate from the lowbeam? If so how do I wire these up? I have an 06 ss/sc

yes those are for the halos and LEDs.
*I say splice, but you can T-tap, or crimp, or so whatever just leave the original wires still connected*
To hook them up to where they are pretty much always on regardless of if you have your highs or lows on I suggest doing this:
(1)Take all three black wires and splice them together leaving one black wire longer than the rest so you can splice that one later
(2)Do this same step with the white and red wires (white is LED power, red are Halo Power, so you can put them together)
Now you will basically have one wire to be able to ground all halos and leds, and you will have one wire for power for both halos and the leds
(3) Now I don't remember if there are 2 or 3 wires running to your parking lamp light, but you will spice the single black wire you now have to the parking lamps ground (which should also be black or have a black stripe on it)
(4) If it only has 2 wires splice the red wire to the other, if it has 3 wires you should need to splice it to the wire on the opposite side, aka (1)(2)(3) you would be splicing into (1)and(3)
And you are now good to go. Sorry if it sounds confusing PM me if you got any questions

sorry for the late response but yes, when the parking lights are on wired up the way I said just the LEDs and halos will turn on.
Make sure not to wire it to the blinker though, unless you want your halos and leds to blink with the turn signal. If they blink with the turn signal then your ground wire is wired correctly but you need to resplice the power from the wire its connected to to the other wire. If your original wiring is correct they wont blink with your blinker
