Im trying to figure out what i should get, Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference in performance between the two? and also how much louder will my exhaust will be by going with a catless DP? Also, what happens to the o2?

Main question would be do you have emission laws in Iowa?

It's illegal anywhere to remove the cat. Nothing a flash can't fix tho. And not saying that all of my turbo cars have cat's, cause they certainly don't. It's usually a tad louder, I can't speak on the SS specifically tho. Haven't gotten to that part yet

Iowa is a non-emission state

I like catless, its louder but there are some key gains
1. High RMP power gain is BIG! You'll feel it trust me (most our power comes in high RPMs anyways)
2. Don't have to worry about it getting clogged
3. You get a nice sound when you shift like a SRT-4 or a WRX or something, I like it but thats just my personal taste

PS. remeber to get a O2 extension so you won't trip the check engine light, they are cheap on Ebay, try to find one with a 90 degee angle it fits best.

Here ya go, this should do the trick

This is for the O2 sensor after the cat (or after where it should be)... the other one sets your A/F, and you don't want to run lean.

In all honesty I just switched to a cai header and cai non catted downpipe with a hahn catback and up to 3500-4k it sounds great. After that it gets extremely raspy and sounds like crap. I would recommend going with a cat to keep that really nice low deep tone the exhaust should have. I don't know if its just my setup or what, but after 4k it really sounds raspy. Go with a cat!

you are gaining maybe 4whp by going catless .... big deal. i would stick with a highflow cat. you will obtain great flow, and your exhaust will still sound strong without the rasp that a catless pipe can produce.
