highest horespower??
your safest bet is (IMO)
-stage 2 belt
-plugs
2.8/2.9 pulley
-42 lb injectors
-tune
-full exhaust
-intake
you can see around 260whp 230ish wtq
the real trick is in the traction with the car
-trans mounts
-engine mount
-stage 2 axles
-Drag radials
-short throw shifter
-Driver mod
you will be happy :-)
EDIT* forgot cooling!
-heat exchanger
-dual pass
:-)

well we already have Methanol Inj. for cooling. thinking about also doing a Heat Exchanger. what do you guys think?? we want to get the full potential out of the car WITHOUT having to do motor work yet

But trust me its all in the tune. Your best bet is to get two tunes honestly. One for winter and one for summer. This is a little dramatic but if you want your car not to have alot of problems then this is your safest bet. It seems like every winter there are numerious "I blew my motor" threads.

[QUOTE=Element2.4;1483871]Dont run a 2.8 and 60# injectors. You IDC is going to be around 110-118%. Get a 2.7, 60# injectors and have someone GOOD tune your car. Many of these cars fail because people cannot tune.
pends who you talk to.. some ppl will fight to the death that 2.8 and 60's is ok to go some will agree 42 and a 2.8 is fine some will argue both suck some will say its safe some will say its not...try it, like it? keep it..don't like it always can go back to a smaller pulley

I ran both setups on my car for a while. When I was using HpTuners it showed that my IDC's were around 118% at 7k rpm's. It seems like alot of people do not have HpTuners configured correctly so they only see 60-80% IDC because it comes from HpTuners not configured correctly. I wanted to be 100% safe so I went with the 60 pounders. Its only 200 bucks so I thought it was better to be safe then sorry down the road.
Guys I am sorry to say the dual pass and HE's are a waste of money.... Methanol is the way to go.... dyno proven I was running the same IAT2s were the same as a full GM stage 3 option b car!
And once again, IDC's aren't the important factor to look at it is how long they are open... 20 milisecs is static... I was at 17.7 mili and at 103%
Close but still okay!
Oh, yeah and I didn't have any cooling mods!

see with the 42's and GMs rich S2 tune the 2.8 leans it out
(thats what my impression of it is)
