how would i go about cleaning this??

 

i think they make an oil kit just for K&N products...comes with all the cleaning products

 

tbh save yourself the money and just wash it under the tap with warm water and dish soap. make sure you clean it really well. then go outside and swing it around a bit to get the major moisture out.

after that, let it dry completely in the sun, oil it back up with k&n filter oil, let that sit for 20 mins or so, and install it.

 

Go real easy with the oil too. Better too little than too much on these cars.

Also, letting it sit in front of a floor fan works extremely well too.
