How do i get rid of torque steer??

How do i get rid of torque steer??

my friend has a caliber srt-4, he has horrible torque steer, what pats can he buy to dampen the torque steer?

Apparently the CSRT4 is notorious for torque steer. Car and Driver said, "What these cars don’t share is torque steer, something that makes the Caliber SRT4 nearly undrivable at full tilt but is pretty well eliminated by suspension and power-steering tuning in the Cobalt SS. And the Dodge features neither launch control nor no-lift shifting."

So tell him to trade in for an SS/TC.

i tried that already lol, but he gopt his csrt-4 for 15000 new at an auction. which is actual a good deal, thats canadian $ by the way

smaller rims, get some 17s with larger side wall, fixes the problem

he's keeping the big rims, he likes those. would tranny mounts help? rotated tranny mounts maybe?

ill keep that in mind, there must be some other option out there tho... and after market piece, something other then downsizing the rims??

not that ive heard, trans mounts arent going to fix torque steer, all that fixes it are equal length halfshafts, and the CSRT already has them. 19s are too big.

well if he doesnt want to change the rims like he should hahaha. mess with the alignments toe camber and caster. you will lose the cornering ability but you should gain a bunch of traction

you dont loose traction in these things when its torque steering, the wheel is just all over the place.
