if you have recaro seats you definately have G85,

if you dont you may still have the limited slip diff,
next time your at a light waiting to turn left, punch it hard when your turning really sharp.
if it pulls like a SOB, you have LSD, if the inside tire wants to break loose and spin and it doesnt pull super hard....you probably dont have LSD.

There's a list that someone posted on this site. G85 is the actual code you should see if you have the limited slip/recaros depending on application.

rev your engine to about...5000 rpms, let off the clutch, and while spinning tires, madly rip steering wheel left and right. Look at your tracks, then youll know.

I mean cmon guys, its not like its a $1500 option and that you should know what you bought...cause you know, we all make sure we know what the MSRP tag lists, right?

I bought a set of service manuals for mine from Helm Inc. for $135 (Crate Engine Depot is cheaper ,) It lists them all, also lists all DTC's what causes them etc. Good investment.

Can't a mod make a sticky saying "How do I know if I have a G85?" for these threads that come up 20 times a week?

Answer look in the trunk opn the option code label.
