how does this sound guys?

well an extra 800 bucks a month helps so i figure i will start building up my balt a bit..how does this setup sound to you pros..

CA stage 4.
2.6pulley-i want to go 2.8 to be safer
ZZP Interchangeable Pulley system
2 step colder ngk IRIDIUM spark plugs
GM shortened belt
ZZP Adjustable Tensioner
60# Siemens Injectors
Injector Wiring Harness
and that comes with some sort of retune?..i'll most likely get a custom hpt.

on to the rest..
i'll keep my injen
sticking to my GM for the exhaust..so...
-GMPP manifold
-corsca touring
-hurst short throw

traction time!
-ZZP BILLET Engine Mount
-ZZP LSJ POLY Trans Mounts

ive done a bit of research and come up with that before id be forced to start with meth and Heat ex.

does that sound good to you guys?
would it be safe?
..figure it would set me around 275-280whp 19-20psi

and i figure the second half of September is when ill start rolling in the parts to start the build over the winter

any advice will be welcomed thanks!

EDIT: going with the 2.8!

i would go with something better on the headers ide of things then a ported manifold.

you can get 270 to the tire with a 2.8

Save yourself some money and just build your own kit and just get a 2.8, 60s, stage 2 belt, and hp tuners tune.

i have a 2.8
not going any lower than this. i like my blower. besides, i rarely race. so i have no need to prove something to people.

i have never ran at the track with a 2.8
however, i have run a 13.7@103 on the stage 2 pulley

Exactly, and on the other hand people with smaller pulleys have ran about that time or slower! I think 13s for a econo street daily driver is good enough for me!

in 3 months(of saving) you could have the blower swap or turbo swap. why would you waste money on an inefficient setup? (2.6)

your warranty will be toast anyway, so why not get the twinscrew? plus its only gonna be like $2,000 more than the power mods you've chosen.
so you wait 3 months, get the better blower, and add some traction mods a little ways down the road. (to give you a break)

what state are you in?
no, the 2.8 will not fit the stock hub, you need the pulley system, or stage 2 hub to get it to work. the stock pulley is a press on. the rest of bolt ons viw using the stage 2 hub, or the interchange system

nah..i want to stick to the 2.8 again..ill be happy with a mid-high 13 safely rather then blowing up my lsj running meth and a 2.6 or lower ect ect.

guess the question would be is there a 2.8 pulley for the gm stage 2 hub?

and i am in New Jersey

Ok, you said your sticking to GM but then list a Corsa exhaust? Does GM sell the Corsa through the dealer along with the GMPP systems.

BTW you will like the Corsa Touring, I've had mine on for about a week and I love it. Great sound not raspy and annoying at all.

the ZZP pulley will work however... there is a guy on here named nate that sells polished pulleys to fit the gm stage 2 hub that are less expensive

make sure you run some cooling mods just for extra protection if you have the cash such as dual pass/heat exchanger/water injection

I agree with some peeps, get a better header. I would get the ZZP header downpipe combo.
