How to eliminate Check engine light

I have an intense stage 3 tune with a K&N CAI, how can i get my check engine light to turn off. I know you can shut it off with hptuners but you still wont pass emissions. I'm talking about correcting the A/F so that it will shut off on its own.

Couldn't tell you, I got the dealer cel-be-gone reflash, but I don't think that do-able since you have the intense set-up. Should have gone with GM stage 2!

sucks you live in a state that checks for emissions. Good luck getting to pass. I don't have to worry about that in MI

You can still pass emissions with turning off the code your throwing threw hp tuners, or you could get a scan tool, just figure out the code first and go from there.

Yup, you can do that with HP tuners. You won't pass the visual tests, but you won't show any codes via the CAN BUS...

WARNING...
Tampering with emissions control devices can be illegal. Please check your local laws as well as EPA rules and regulations for legal modification. Disabling emissions controls should be used on off road use only vehicles. It is illegal to modify diagnostic test results in order to pass emissions testing. FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY....

Ok..... that said and done.... for anyone looking to AUTOCROSS or make it OFF ROAD...
HERE IS WHAT YOU DO....

you can remove whatever code you want.... Lets say you always get the P0171 code.

You remove P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1 from the DTC's by removing the (Check mark) on the SES Enable and set Error Mode = 3-No Error Reported

Let's say you elliminate secondary o2 sensor completely along with catalitic converter on the car. Install a ZZP OFF ROAD PIPE...

Here is what to do ...
Under the Engine Diagnostics table in HPtuners... General tab
You'll see Diagnostic Tests P0101,P0106,P0121
Min ECT=131
Max ECT=257
P068 Enable RPM=800

So these tests never run set the following so they are out of range of normal driving conditions...
Set Min ECT=280
P0068 Enable Rpm= 8000

In the DTC's tab

Remove the (Check mark) on the SES Enable and set Error Mode = 3-No Error Reported

P0036 HO2S Heated Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0136 HO2S Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0137 HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0138 HO2S Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0140 HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0141 HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0420 Catalyst System Low Efficiency

As far as the tests go... car completes them without having the cat or 2nd o2 installed.

Here is a log of the HP DTC data:
