HOW GOOD IS YOUR HEADER Really?

You all have seen the header page which I think was done extremly well. If not look at it before you read on perhaps look at it out of interest.
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...ght=zzp+header

Now I would like to see any of the following

1. video of a flyby with your exhaust
2. dyno improvement from your exhaust and supporting modifications
3. time slips before and after or just after is fine.
4. Exhaust tone before and after.
5. seat of the pants dyno is ok too..LOL
6. problems and good things to note about your header

I myself have the ZZP header and downpipe on its way. so that will be covered with GMS2 and after that goes on 2.6 plus 60lbs injectors with a tune! cant wait. hopefully it is a good story as I find out now there is mixed reviews on the ZZP TOG header. I am recieving the the ceramic header with 2.5/8" tubes. TOG has 2.75" tubes. Both have 3" collector. wish me luck..LOL

GMPP is the only header on the market GUARANTEED to not have any leaking/cracking/fitment issues. It makes your midrange ALOT smoother and is a great header for the price. Your talking about POSSIBLY 3 ponies, that the equivilent to the extra weight of you not taking a crap before you go race someone.

My header is the best, was free to make and gave a noticable change in sound and power. Slight power increase, but worth my time.

I just put on the Pacesetter ceramic coated header. But I also has a custom 3" downpipe built with a 3" Magnaflow converter and got rid of the stock resonator for a 3" one. It did make a pretty good difference. I also was able to run more timing without knock too.

Any header that will bolt up to the stock downpipe, even a 3" collector one will work just fine.

Ya as long as it's not a longtube header and not the pacesetter then you'll be fine.

I have the pacesetter header done with 3" custom mandrel bent tubing all the way. It is a good header and honestly other than the JBP equal length header you won't notice a difference between any of them they all do the same thing. (Move air in contained space)

I got the CTI header with a 3" DP with a 2.5" neckdown(catless). The butt dyno is a definatley noticeable, you cant really feel it in the low rpms but midrange is a definate yes and also in the top end. Also the sound is unbelieveable, i dont have a flyby or anything but the corsa sport without a cat, the damn thing sounds awesome, its screams at the top end, if you like really loud this is what you want. I dont know HP gains and probly wont know for a while but id say a good 10-15hp increase. Also i was looking at the jbody header and 15-20 is a little much, i know they have that stated on their website but they gained 31 HP with a I/H/E, corsa has their exhaust listed as a gain of 12 hp over stock, i can see maybe 15 but 20 is pushing it a header is a header, just like one 3" inch pipe isnt going to outflow another 3 " pipe, how all the other header be close in gains but theirs is off the chart

acually a header does more than just let more air flow, if it is a tuned lengh header, it allows exhaust gas coming from one cylinder to create a vacuum for the next cylinder so that the first exhaust gas pulls the next exhaust gas and so on and so forth. thereby making your engine not work so hard to push the exhaust gas out of the cylinder.

Have you dynoed your gains? Or are you estimating?

i have not dynoed since putting my header on, however based on the header thread combined with the fact that i am catless is where im getting my estimations from, also cti's header is equal length.

The only thing it does is turns on your check engine light one. There's no other side effects.

Remember, its JBP. They don't have to prove thier products, they just say that they are better than everyone else!! That makes them better, right??

I can believe the no leaks but you get 30 cfm on top of the original 500. not much improvement IMO. just hone the stock one same thing.
