You will need larger injectors and a tune.

Can you do 60's and a tune? I seen people do it before. Hell zzp has their e-85 option with 60's with their mail-in tune

Sweet! So basically just need 80's and an E-85 Tune, Thats Easy enough and correct me if I'm wrong but If I go E-85 with 80's Thiers pretty much no need for a Heat E/X or any Cooling MODS for that Matter if I go down to a 2.7 Right?

Not that big of a deal. The fuel trims will account for the difference in fuel since its about 25% less fuel, yes you will be near maxing out the fuel trims but it will be drive-able. You might not even knock since it will be very rich on the gas. If you find yourself **** out of luck with an e85 tune, you can get home.

You still want some cooling mods, IMO a H/E is always nice. E can be done on 60's with a 2.9 and higher pulley. Just depends on how hard u drive it and feel safe. I saw a site that shows all E stations though. So I can plot stuff out if needed, but where I work has E so it's an easy find in MI

Well ZZP could get you a good starting tune for E. Or contact Ebristol and he can try and help you, or the RL forums should be able to help too.

I am on E and dude its a pain in the ass with 5 stations in my area. I think alot of guys on pump w/ supporting mods and a good tune are just a little bit under what guys on E are pushing with the stock blower. If you have 60s ill trade you my 80s plus a little cash from you, I want to go back to pump.

All in all its just a convenience thing now. I know my car isnt going to be stupid fast anytime soon so until I upgrade the blower or switch to turbo I'd rather be on pump.

Some down falls are: Not really availible in CERTAIN areas, decreased mpg, cold starts are a PITA, etc..

Hmmmm my car starts like its on 91 in the winter on E85....

In short, after running E85 I dont think I would own this car if I ever had to switch back to 91 on this setup. Even on stock blower Id have some thinking to do.

do you think its in my tune or something else causing the problem? its been around 80 and up and it gives me issues even then. its happend after like 4 weeks after i switched over to E but before then it would start up with no issues.

it's your tune. have your tuner look at the warm up tables ect.. Your probably going pig ass rich in the winter causing it to choke like a raped white woman.

E is usually about 1$ cheaper a gallon, and you can't run premium only in a dire emergency and you HAVE to stay OUT of boost period. Or it will run pig rich and then some.

Check E85vehicles.com or w/e it is for stations.
