How hard does Intense Pulley puch on?

I'm installing the intense pulley hub and it's on almost the whole way but now it's getting extremely hard to turn the 15/16" nut. It's only gotta go about one belt groove width. Then the end of the hub will be perfectly even with the end of the shaft. Does it normaly get really hard to make it go that last little bit? I'm using the Intense Pulley tool by the way.

Yes, use a little muscle. It will take about the same force to put it on that you took to take it off. If you recall how hard that was you will know. It has a slight taper to it so the farther back it goes, the harder things will become. I have the Intense hub, fits on the end of the shaft perfect and lines right up. If you are using their tool it will stop exactly at the end of the shaft if you have it on their right. This way nothing gets distoreted or messed up.

when i put my pully on it went on hard because it was backwards..... so after taking it off and putting it back on again, and breaking the tool about 5 times..... it is on.....

Flat side out. The pulley will mate to its flat surface.

Yea, the side where you bolt the hub on is what sticks out...

Thanks guys. I'll try tonight when I get home. I've got the hub on the right way but it just didn't seem like it would go on anymore as we cranked the hell out of it and it didn't seem like it would go.

The hub should fit flush on the end of the snout.
