How to launch your SS/SC

Okay, I have only driven a manual for 3 weeks now and I want to know the best way to launch a SS/SC in a race.

I have tried launchign it at like 2500 RPM and that was a bad idea. The RPM's just jumped and the car didnt move.

How do I launch this bad boy!

First you have to fill your tires up with summer air.

No summer air. You know let all the winter air out of your tires and fill them with summer air. Helps the car hook up.

I think a 2 grand dump is good becuase they only spin a little bit with like no hop at all on a stock 2006 ss/sc. It doens't jsut tac right up to rev limiter either. When you do that it holds about 6 grand until they stop spinning and by that time your already at like 6 grand. Beat plenty of Srt's like that!

In the jump scene in Gone in 60 Seconds. Launch your car like Nicolas Cage launches Eleanor. I've learned so much about driving a stick from that movie. Not kidding. LOL

Dangit!! I just got some spring air off Ebay for a steal of a deal!! I'm sending it back now, but I'll loose the shipping and handling charges. It came in 4 seperate boxes but the 4th box sprung a leak or something because when I opened it, it was half full of air. That's ok. I'm placing a bid on some summer air though.

I've got summer air up for sale on ebay. How much did you pay for that spring air? If it was more than $30 a box, then you're gettin screwed bro.
