^ ^ Not going to happen until much later guys. I was just informed that summer air is back ordered until fall.
There was a recall on the first batch. Something to the fact that the boxes were full of hot air, not the actual summer air.

Back to the original topic real quick, How many lbs of air u think I should run up front and in the rear when I go to the track this weekend?

(BTW I'm on Stock winter air in my tires) <couldn't resist.

But I'm actually wondering about the question!

Qtr mile track?
I'm not sure. I wouldn't worry about the rear in the 1/4. I would experiment a few pounds of pressure less than stock (front) to see what the car feels like and then go from there.

damn so your gonna have imported summer air. If you get it from my area it's gonna be contaminated with pollen. Not good. The California Summer air is better, it's a lot dryer so you won't slip. God I was crying reading this too so funny, I've heard as low as 20 psi in the front and 40 in the rear. I think it will depend on the conditions of the track to be honest. But yeah lower in the front then in the rear.

Yea? Sounds like a plan. and yes 1/4 mile. Ive had her for about 3 weeks now, and I'm getting a baseline Duno on monday, and track on Fri, so I know where I started at. The Tire pressure's i'll prob play with a bit while I'm up there.

Hey guys, check it out!! Just a short while ago my doorbell rang. Guess who it was? FED EX and look what they dropped off at my doorstep!!
I KNOW I KNOW!! I WAS SUPRISED TOO!! It was supposed to be backordered but I must have got my order processed before the last batch went out.
It was only one box of summer air but I called the summer air supplier and they said that the one box of air is enough for 3 vehicles!! It's 07 air, The SS Summer Limited Edition!! Sweet!!
I took a few pics of the package below for your enjoyment.
It came with instructions and some neat little apple sticker decaly thing-a-ma-bobs . Can't wait to put them on my car, WOOT!!
Enjoy the pics.

DUDE, i already did this mod. you guys are slow with this new stuff. You stab the end of your air hose into the bottom side of the box and fill up ur tires. it works great. with only this mod i took a 400awhp STI from a dig, easily. you'll really enjoy it have fun with it

ATTN CANADIANS

I just saw on the AP Newswire that Canada is banning the import and sales of summer air. The reason given is the Enviromentalist party has scientific proof that the use of summer in Canada will cause global warming to increase in speed, warp factor two. The Enviromentalist express concern that they must do their part in keeping The Great White North, white. This can only be possible by banning the sale of summer air. Reports have been verified that the Enviromentalist Party have named 25 Polar Bears to raise awareness of this victory.

I'll take some summer aire, but only for the front 2 tires. I heard if you run summer air in the back, it wont rool ass good in the 1/4 mile. Also, I wanted to know what you guys think of my Injen CAI and Summer air? U guys think it will run better being that I can get some summer air for it... thankx lmao

I guess I'll go back on topic for this guy with the air pressure for a sec. What you actually want to do to find the correct psi is a burnout. Seriously, if you do a quick burnout and leave a mark (that's what you want) take a look at it. If it's lighter on the sides and darker in the middle then you have too much air. If it's lighter in the middle and darker on the sides then you have too little. The idea is to get the correct pressure so that it's even darkness across. Remember, these aren't race tires (no wrinkle sidewalls) so letting the air out of them can cause them to have less of a footprint therefore less traction. Also no burnouts at the track. Street tired DO NOT get stickier when spun like crazy. They get all greasy and you'll get less traction. Just do a quick spin to clean them off and you're on your way. Rear tires pump up to like 40-45ish so they offer less rolling resistance. On a side note I've heard that summer air reads at a different psi than winter air due to it's temp difference so you can't always go by that

Wow, that's some the best advice I've heard since since someone yelled "get to a life boat" on the titanic.

the trick to launching any car is to find what that particular car likes and what it doesnt. mine likes about 1500 then a smooth clutch release. some wheel spin and smoke depending on the amount of gas given and road condition. then let it come up to about 6k and shift into 2nd and depending on the situation go from there. this is what my ss likes other cars are different.
