how many punds of boost do you hit with a 2.7" pulley?????
I think my supercharger isn't running right...how many pounds of boost should I be hitting with a 2.7" pulley

The cobalts I've tuned don't have a Desired MAP on them, they have Desired Torque.
I'm running a 2.7 with a full 3" exhaust and still only seeing ~16 myself. When I went from a 2.9 to a 2.7 my boost didn't go up at all (and neither did my MAF readings, so it's not that it's "free flowing" it's just not getting any more air than before). I'm wondering if it's a restriction in my intake.

Dainslaif I didn't know you tuned him. Does setting the desired torque table to 6042 do the same basically as setting the MAP tables on the 05s to 256? Thats just a question out of my own curiousity.
Most i logged on my 2.7 with the cutout open was 16.4. I think my exhaust is pretty free flowing only pushing that much boost while the maf is reading 35lbs/min.

I didn't tune anyone in this thread, I've tuned a few guys in Killeen who don't post, and a guy on RLF in Dallas.
It's sorta the same, but I honestly don't know where the computer gets its torque readings from, I just max them all out, honestly. With the redline I know what it is so I only up it to 20 PSI so the car will start pulling boost once it gets to an unacceptably high number (in case the cat goes bad, for example)

Ok I got ya now. I thought you tuned him and thats why you were saying that.
When I tuned my friends Balt I just maxed it to 6042 (someone on RLF told me to) but it probably didnt affect him since his is on a 3" pulley.
OP i think the verdict is that if you have a free flowing exhaust and are on any type of elevation you are boosting an acceptable amount
Edit: just realized OP is in MN, nowhere near you dainslaif lol! I should have caught that earlier.
Gearhead where is MN are you?

I'm near that I think actually, 125-130 kpa My boost gauge is maxed out at 140 kpa and we know that this is 20 PSI! I didn't get that during the summer thought... The weather is really colder now, 40F is not warm by any means And that is nothing compared to what we will get this winter, below 0F
