How many of you have this!!?

Ok! I see alot of guys saying not to get stage 2 and to get stage one then get a smaller pulley from another source such as ZZP. I want to know how many guys have stage 1 and a smaller pulley with no additional tuning besides what is provided in the S1 kit. I have heard a handfull of people say stage 1 and 2 tunes are different and a handfull say that they are the same. I am trying to figure out what is the truth and if I can save myself 200+$

Now, if stage one and two have the same PCM tuning, what EXACTLY would I have to purchase to drop pulley sizes? I understand that s2 comes with a new SC hub, so what would I need to get from ZZP or another vendor to drop my pulley size. Would I be able to put my stock pulley back on to avoid any trouble from the dealership if problems arise?

Sorry guys I know all of this has been covered but there were so many posts of people bitchen about the tunes being different I really couldnt get a good answer. If you know the answers to my questions could you please post how you know or some proof?

Thanks for any and all help guys, I am just trying to get some facts so I can better help people in the future when questions like these come up

i got the stage 2... so i can be under warranty.. if something breaks, i will put back on the s2 pulley.

as you can see i bought a 2.90" true pulley of nate on the boards.

I say if you have the money, mike, just get the STage 2, since they put on the MPS for you, and give you a belt.

Thanks syp, I will most likely just get the stage 2, but I am trying to get all the facts straight mostly because I dont want to give anyone false info about stage one and two tunes.

Also, I met up with chipmonk and his buddy in the white 12 sec gtp saturday along with my buddy with a black 07 ss/sc. We should all meet up or go to 41 some time!

nahh the tunes are the same.

if i changed pulleys without a tune, i'd go with the 2.9" from gm st3. i'm very happy with my cars performance w/ stage2 and injen.

i got the stage 2 to stay under warrenty, and am planning on buying a 2.90 pulley from ZZP. when you get the stage 2 installed they'll most likely break your stock pulley, and when they put the new one on its bolted in, so its easy to get a new one and replace the 3.0 without them even knowing.
i think getting the stage 2 is the better choice.

Thanks for the responses guys! I think I know everything there is to know about the stage kits I was just still unsure if it the tunes are the same. I will more than likely go with the stage 2 kit, it just makes things easier.
