how to modify the lsj thermo and oil cooler adapter for external cooling

take your thermo housing and cut the nipples going to the oil cooler off and tap the holes for 3/8 pipe and plug them

unbolt the silver cooler from the oil cooler adapter weld 2 -10 bungs to it get your appropriate fittings and line in -10 size and a oil cooler of your choice with -10 inlet and outlet build your lines mount it up enjoy cooler oil and engine temps and increased capacity

I would imagine I believe you posted in it lol. Only differance is John also welded his. I felt confident with just tapping mine. Hasn't leaked at all. Also leaves the option with just tApped to put it back to stock if I wanted to. But there's nothing wrong with welding it like John did.

the stock oil cooler is junk period ive seen them crack and mix coolant and it can over tax the coolant system(another reason the lnf got mpre coolant capacity) it also increases the oil capacity and gives you a place to pre oil a fresh engine before startup

Yeah I know your setup is a lil different. Yeah I was refurring to the oil cooler part. I've seen block of Tstat housing to delet the t-stat. There's a company that makes them for Ecos. I'm lost other wise John lol.
